     Bem vindo|a.

Today News -- Two

     Helo, and Be welcome.

I've decided to translate all Stories to Portuguese, and write the following story posts in this language, but all about our Conlangs and world building Conworlding must stay in English, because many of our friends don't speak English well and we want them to read.

We're going to have a translator to make a future version for the Adventures, and I guess we already have the best to hire - we're negotiating yet.

Akkia reached 500+ verbs, and we're ready to make another site with an online Dictionary to all our Action Tales languages. Conlanging is a serious business to us. The Nekron, Draka and Oka conlangs must have their own entries in the Dictionary, as various other Action Tale's languages in the future.

I'm reading a very positive reaction from my friends and friends of friends about writing in our native Portuguese, but don't worry, English is next.

The Adventure published at The Wormbar, named Stolen Dreams, is on the way to become a Trilogy, as we have already decided what is its "place" in the whole Universe we're planning, and the Oká language is growing up sound and clear. A beautiful event happens during the Adventure, in which a player triggered Oká to a magic destiny, to dissipate negative energy, and we can only know this may happen also to other languages, that is, this is just the beginning and players may change the future we've planned to many things.

In case you decide to ask, as our Stories are played and player's decisions are sometimes unpredictable, we don't know the future. Many Stories published may also doesn't end properly, as players can, for example, move to another city or state -- this indeed happened, and we're still deciding what to do.

We're also having meetings, twice a week, to create and practice our Conlangs, making use of them, and I'm happy to say Luciana my co-AT-conlanger is now able to understand simple statements in Akkia -- Yeah! -- so we do plan our languages to be used, but they'll only be made depending on fandom, then we're creating Templates for future appreciation. This makes me really happy, and I'm working now on the search of an Oká co-worker, and Nekron is IE, so it's pretty easier to make, with some words taken from the Stolen Dreams adventure - directly, the English vocabulary which comes from Latin used on Stole Dreams was included into Nekron.

We're also planning a Newspaper, in Akkia.
Our Wiki is not working anymore, but as we're planning a Dictionary, it must probably include a Wikiverse for Action Tale.

Correction (2016): Our Wiki is running and online.

Today News -- One

    Helo, and Be welcome.

I've worked together with Heitor in a very good storyline, in the way to adapt the stories played into novels, and in special the big picture of the Stolen Dreams adventure. It's not the end. It is indeed the beginning of a long work into adapting the stories.

At the Action Tales blug, though, I've just seen some part of the archieves are missing, but no problem. I'll adapt and improvise.

This week, my friend Luciana Lima and I were talking about Akkia, to make it better and easier. It's a tough language, but it doesn't mean it's no good. The Dictionary's ready. So, with this first step on hands, we're going to review how it works, properly.

I'm working with two ideas to form the Akkia grammar.

First, the Operator Grammar idea of "Operator", which is the word or expression you can't take off a sentence, with the penalty of generating an ungrammatical sentence. And so, with the Cambridge idea of Grammar in Use, which doesn't expose technical vocabulary to the student, being focused more on "how to use", and as Akkia uses Cases, this is really handy.

I thank my fellow conlangers for some words, as for example, today I was reading the board and came to the dutch word "taalknobbel", which means someone with "a feel for languages", and then today I coined the word "suomoesuus" (later, "suommýtsuus") for this. It reaminds me of "suomi" and "suomen suu", which is "finnish mouth", what makes me like even more this new expression.

Also, I've started reading the Game of Thrones novel, still on book one, and it is indeed good. I've noticed how the more I rest, the more I produce.

Note (2016): I've step aside from Game of Thrones at that time, for storyline reasons.

During the last two weeks, I've decided that the translation work must focus on British English, and so an American version will have to wait. Talking with a book seller, here at Belo Horizonte, he says today this is not the only option, and there are several writers opting for a more neutral and international version of the language, what stands now as the main option; but jargon must still be closer to British.

In a very occasional meeting with Tomaz Sá, I've given him his version of our Calendar. It has the dates for every event during the year on Earth, sosltices and equinoxes, with the animals listed, and everything with the already correct arithmancy numbers in it. It shows also the Pentagram, with all we need to know about Magic, including magic directions for rituals, and wiccan reverence. All that based on real magic, to which were used more than twenty real books, including Liber Kaos, and various real grimoires.

Following discussions and polls on our Facebook group, Action Tale, and also Akkia and official Sol Cajueiro's languages, the list of magic animals is complete; including "Hlix" the spider,...

I'm done with doing revision of chapters 1 to 7, book 1, and working on the next part, 8 to 11, but all that is my own "grouping", and not actually any sort of division inside book. But well, my first readers, Alex and Priscila are still reading the starting chapters, but they say it's amazing. I'll meet my revisor next week to see the revised chapters one and two,... Yeah! And have the final form to the text next.

I've also translated the first paragraph of my book to Akkia, but that you'll need to go our Akkia group on Facebook if you want to read it.

Having a couple of days now to dedicate to the Ameaça das Sombras adventure writing, but a I've said, some parts are missing, and I'll have to remake text. But well, this is a young reader's story, and it must be in Portuguese, to make easier for brazilian audience to read. My players asked it to be in Portuguese. But soon, I'll have news on the story which is being written in English, as I've grouped everything in the label "introduction" to make it easier to think about the next steps ahead, and play.

Back to the Wormbar, I want to have the Trilogy ready before we start to play a new campaign. This must make it easier, as words like "elf" are being taken off the final version, and a huge number of new informations are going to be added to a very easy-to-read version.

I'll have to thank my players again.

In special Nahas, who's always taking notes, and that helps me a lot when it comes down to writing, but everyone is important same way.

So, these are the news for today, here at the blug.

I hope you're enjoying the reading, so come back whenever you want, and,...

Adaptation Starting Point (1)

    Helo, and Be welcome.

    Olá, e Seja bem vindo.

The first attempt in the direction of adapting the Story played is finished, and Heitor and I have decided all major aspects in the Play.

As I have said at the beginning, long ago when the Blog started, the adventure is in a Resume format, so this happen to make it barely readable, with loads of mistakes in spelling and punctuation, or actually only a resume and no reader would understand. Things are missing. Words like "elf" are there in Honour to our favorite authors, as well as references to characters, but we do not intend to offend anyone's right, and now they're being expelled from the School, or adapted.

The Wormbar is a place, and Wizard Professor Susking Kuoi is the character created as narrator, but we don't know yet if it's stay as a host, or also be adapted. Maybe,...

I've finished the list of Latin words extracted from the English text which are to be introduced into the Nekron immortal's language, but don't count much in Nekron to sound like Latin.

The ejik main Oka language is "triggered" during the main Story, by Tacke The First, as a language with a main reason into the Universe. We decided to keep that. Heitor and I decided to keep most of the Play, and about 99% of the Storyline from what's been played is to be used, but there are now two moments we could not decide how to adapt,... but wait! The plan is to divide the Adventure into two Books, the first with 17 Chapters ready, the second with 16 Chapters ready.

This means about ten New Chapters to be included in each Book, and there will be a third Book to complete The Trilogy.

At the Action Tale blog, all that's been played has been moved to another Label (Tag), which is "introduction", including the few from the School Adventure. It means it doesn't ends here. It means actually this is the starting point.

I'll write in Portuguese, for it's better this way, as we have now a professional translator, Carlos Cox, and we grant he's the best for the job.

Still, I myself write the polsts for this Blog.

We can't grant the School Adventure is for Young Readers, but we'll try.

Nós não podemos garantir que a Aventure de Escola será Infanto-Juvenil, mas vamos tentar.

The Akkia conlang's been adapted into the Plot during my Main Novel Series, and I'm doing the final version, so news will be here soon.

Follow @solcajueiro on Twitter, to know it first.

Or go to our Facebook page Action Tale and like us.

Next week I'll try to gather with our coworker Tomaz Sá, and settle bases for the Standards we plan to use, and he's going to write his own Action Tale Story. I can't grant he'll agree with everything, but that is the moment diplomatics are welcome.

Actually, I've just noticed today each member of our Club is the representative of a So Big part of the Multiverse, no one can be ignored.

I'm specially interested in how Nekron had gained a Very High Status, during these talkings and meetings, and I'll pray for the Immortals while sleeping, but the decision of using a player's idea for a main reason behind one of My Languages equals the emotion behind it. Oka needs more attention now. And my friend Luciana Lima must get her copy of the Akkia Dictionary next week. Yes, this mean the first part of my creation of the Akkia language is finished.

And This is only the beginning.

Blog News - September 2012

    Helo, and Be welcome.

The Adventure featured on THIS adventure blog will be adapted into a Novel, and I'm already discussing details with my co-author.

I've decided to write in Portuguese, for many reasons and that will make my work much easier. The Story written in here is a complete mess. Don't worry. Also, some words and expressions will be completely modified, as elf for example. The vocabulary's gonna change, but this adventure's been planned to be a starting point (even if my Players almost threatened me to play medieval,... just kidding), and then this it must be, with proper studies, timelines, and hard work.

We analyzed the Story and this is one book and a half ready, but there will be also changes in the way the story must be written, for a Novel is a completely different media than an adventure, and wait for a huge number of mysteries to be ploted.

If you know my other blog -- www.actiontale.com -- you may know the word Conlog, but if you don`t, this is the place to start with.

I`m now much more interested in documenting the process of adapting the adventure into a novel, and that`s what a Conlog is. The adventure played is in a very-difficult-to-read resume format. That won`t happen in a Novel. I`d never had enough time to write the final edition to the posts, but that`s because I`m also writing my main Novel serie`s first book, and the adaptation is much more interesting than spending time and effort with something so resume, yet the ideas are great.

I promise we`re doing our best.

See you soon and so with more news on the Trilogy, and,...

Adventure Blog News (0612)

    Helo, and Be welcome.

I'm Sol Cajueiro and this is my adventure blog.

Actually, this blog takes much more time to create than I thought so at the start, and the adventures are here in a true mess. Some are not published yet. Some halted. Some players made my life a hell in the last months, and they're not playing anymore.

    I apologize.

To deal with this messy science fantasy blog, I'm talking with some people, and soon there will be two adventures, one in English, one in Portuguese. To write in English is not the problem, but my bronken english sometimes distract from the Story, and that's not the main goal at the blog. The adventures created for adults, now mainly with politics and setting narrative will be in English. But well, I'm planning a Story I wanted to play for a very long time, and that's a story of a School for special students, this one will be in Portuguese because writing in Portuguese is easier for me and players asked for it.

    So, wait for new adventures! (-;

The second but no less important blog, the Wormbar|Epic Destiny, will have a more light adventures than a long campaign as the first one. I'll save some time to keep up with final versions. This paused in a very difficult moment of the history of the Trikumai worlds. This event ended. But then, there's much more to come in near future, and the Wormbar is alive.

The Novel's book one release date is not decided.

I'll keep everyone informed, here and later on Twitter, and Amazon.

Follow me at Twitter: @solcajueiro to see things first.

News on my conlang Akkia, and othe official languages you will find on my Akkia group on Facebook, but even if the group is not public if you ask for permission I'll let you in. We discuss Akkia, ejik Oka, Siddha, Draka, Deathspeech, Trade and more languages. Members can post on the group, and I'll be ready to explain grammar and other questions.

I noticed you don't comment much... don't be shy. ^~

To ask for information or know about secrets and what's to come, go to our Facebook page and or group Action Tale, but please explain who you are and why you want to participate.

This is it for now, and I hope to keep up with the blog, and so,...
